Clearly at odds with each other, Edward (Joel Molina) suggests for him and Edong (Jake Cuenca) to be in an alliance, one in which he can support Edong in killing whoever he wants.
Unconvinced, Edong gets irked at Edward trivializing his brutal plans, stressing that he doesn’t merely perpetrate violence but rather aligns it with his personal mission.
Edward tries to persuade Edong again, reminding him that he is closely associated with Alice (Janella Salvador), Erica (Kaila Estrada), Beth (Charlie Dizon), and Mel (Sue Ramirez), which would make Edong’s revenge easier. However, this must be paid for by Edong maintaining his silence after learning of Edward’s evil deeds.
Laughing sinisterly, Edong brushes off Edward’s idea, bringing up Alice’s possible dreadful reaction when the time comes that she realizes Edward’s true identity.
As Edong delights in the thought of Alice’s suffering at the impending revelation, Edward strikes him first, beginning another altercation, until Edong overpowers and corners him with Anton’s (Jameson Blake) gun.
Hastily, Edward repeats his plea, asking Edong to think their cooperation over, but Edong remains firm in his decision. He remarks once more that they are not the same, and he has been given a second life to exact retribution on his own against those who wronged him, instead of simply siding with a pest like Edward.
Thinking of a new distraction, Edward agrees that Edong is different from him and menacingly mentions Crisanto (Gerald Madrid), Edong’s father, who has been arrested at Amurao’s police station.
Seeing Edong shaken by the news, Edward manages to escape.
