In the wake of Althea’s (Andi Abaya) critical condition due to a slash inflicted on her neck, Edong (Jake Cuenca) becomes the prime suspect once more. However, upon learning this, Edong appears perplexed and tearfully denies the allegations.
Earlier, Edong had been spying around Edward’s (Joel Molina) residence, followed him, and eventually witnessed Edward excavating and retrieving the bones of his past child victims—intending to move them to another site.
Sensing Edong’s looming presence, Edward begins a conversation. He recalls spotting Edong around his house, just a day after their altercation over Seth’s (Rhys Stevens) life. In response, Edong laughs wickedly, taunting about Alice’s (Janella Salvador) possible reaction when she finally discovers the evil truth behind Edward’s kind-hearted reputation—being a sexual predator who has been targeting children all along.
Edong continues his remarks, wondering at how Edward turned out to be another killer rather than Alice, Erica (Kaila Estrada), Beth (Charlie Dizon), and Mel’s (Sue Ramirez) protector. Edward cackles, equating his and Edong’s murderous motives, which Edong rejects.
Edward goes on to say that he’s familiar with Edong’s story of having an abusive father, much like his own—only that his would take advantage of him, making him irredeemable in his perversion. Hearing this, Edong disgustingly declares him a pest
