Liam (Donny Pangilinan) and Gwen (Lou Yanong) engage in an intense showdown in the February 12 episode of “Roja.”
After crossing paths with Dado (Bernard Palanca), Liam follows Luna (Maymay Entrata), Joy (Sophie Reyes), and Happy (Rubi Rubi) as they flee, with goons chasing after them. Meanwhile, Gwen goes after Ivan (Jeremiah Lisbo), who had slipped away when he was supposed to help Leni (Rikki Mae Davao).
While searching for Luna and her companions, Liam unexpectedly runs into Gwen, who points a gun at him. “So, buhay ka pa?” he asks, stunned to see her after knocking her out during the resort siege, when she held the hotel staff captive. Gwen replies, “Patay ka na.”
Without wasting any time, Liam immediately attacks Gwen, trying to knock the gun out of her hands. Gwen fights back, and both continue to face each other, their fight growing more violent as it goes on. At one point, Gwen locks Liam in place while twisting his arms. Liam attempts to overpower her, lifting her up and trying to slam her head onto the couch, but neither of them stops.
Eventually, they both manage to grab their guns and point them at each other, exchanging intense looks as they wait for the other to make a move. Ivan suddenly appears behind Gwen. Liam notices him but does nothing to distract her. As Gwen senses someone behind her and turns, Ivan strikes her head, knocking her unconscious and leaving her bleeding from the forehead. Ivan quickly seizes Gwen’s weapons, and together, he and Liam continue their search for Luna and the other victims.
