Liam (Donny Pangilinan) begins to grow suspicious of Greta (Lorna Tolentino) and her possible connection to Jericho (Floyd Tena) in the February 10 episode of “Roja.” As Liam and Olsen (Kyle Echarri) retrieve the money Emil (Joel Torre) acquired from their hostages, they quickly sneak into La Playa Roja’s security office to get weapons---something they could use for defense in case things at the hospital with Emil take a turn for the worse. They stash the gun in a duffel bag and head back to the hospital before Emil’s given time limit expires.
The two quickly head back to the hospital aboard the speedboat prepared by Emil. As they sail, Liam reflects on how Greta’s actions began to raise suspicion, starting when she tried to contact Jericho during the siege. Liam recalls that Greta told him she was only trying to ask for help, even though she was visibly agitated about why their planned siege had gone so badly.
He also recalled the time when, just as he was about to shoot Jericho himself, Greta stopped him and insisted that Jericho was only trying to help. But Liam was unfazed, having already seen Jericho talking to Lucas (Marc Abaya) prior to that moment. As he tried to connect the dots, he remembered when Emil introduced Jericho to the hostages as the mastermind of the siege. Jericho defended himself, claiming he wasn’t the sole person behind the plot, and Greta immediately reacted---looking nervous that Jericho might reveal more about her secret role as the true mastermind.
“May kinalaman kaya si Mama sa lahat ng ito?” Liam wonders, beginning to suspect Greta and her possible involvement in the siege, given her connections with Jericho. As he reflects, they soon arrive back at the port, where he calls Emil to update him that they are about to head back to the hospital.
