Maymay Entrata has also not been spared from criticism, just like many other artists.
In an exclusive interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, she shared how she handles it and stays grounded despite the bashing.

Kasi as much as possible, hindi ako nag-o-open ang social media, or hindi ako nagbabasa tungkol sa akin, whether it's positive or negative.
The Roja star said she refuses to let the comments define who she is.
Maymay is now back with a Tagalog track, "Masunog Man."
“It took me a while to make a Filipino song. Nagdecide na lang kami,” she said.
She said this latest single is her way of pouring out her emotions.
Di ko in-allow mag-open sa public about how I feel. So parang, instead through social media why not ibahagi yung nararamdaman ko through music,” she said.
She added which line from the song resonates with her the most.
“Yung second verse po yun. 'Buo ang pusong sugatan. Ubos nang luha ko. Sa tahimik kong kuwarto, sumasayaw ng mag-isa. Kasabay sa alon. Ako ay babangon,'” she said.
Maymay continued, saying she still vividly remembers a time when she expected someone to be there for her during a low point.
“Sobrang clear pa rin yung panahon na yun, kumbaga mag-isa lang ako, tapos parang I was expecting someone ko na will be there for me, na may may maso-show up sa akin pero wala.
