As Emil (Joel Torre) orders them to retrieve the money they took from the hostages, Liam (Donny Pangilinan) and Olsen (Kyle Echarri) make their way back to La Playa Roja, given only 24 hours to return with it. While traveling by boat, Liam asks Olsen how he is feeling. “Kanina ko pa gustong tanungin kung okay ka, kahit alam ko namang hindi,” Liam says, to which Olsen agrees. “Paano naman ako magiging okay, Liam?” he replies, adding that the revelation of Wendy (Janice de Belen) being Magnus’ (Raymond Bagatsing) mistress was baffling to him.
Liam says that it’s normal for everyone to make mistakes, but Olsen refuses to accept that it’s that easy to process such revelations. Liam draws from his own experience of Magnus’ betrayal “Bago mangyari ang lahat ng ‘to, galit na galit ako kay Papa. Alam mo ‘yan. Sinisi ko siya sa nangyari kay Mama (Lorna Tolentino). Siya rin ang sinisi ko sa nangyaring hostage-taking,” Liam explains, noting that Magnus is the reason Emil wanted revenge and orchestrated the siege, due to Magnus’ affair with Ayen (Yassi Pressman).
Olsen reflects further, adding that he is also at fault for tolerating Magnus back then, as he was the one Magnus trusted with his secret affair. “Kasi kahit alam kong may namamagitan sa kanila ni Ayen, wala naman akong ginawa,” he says, blaming himself. Liam assures him that he does not blame either Olsen or Magnus, as he had seen how much they were willing to sacrifice their lives during the siege. “Nawala lahat ng galit ko, lahat ng hinanakit ko.” Liam looks on the bright side, saying that the siege brought their family back together: “Kaya sana, kayo ng nanay mo, mapapatawad mo pa rin siya,” Liam convinces Olsen.
Olsen later says that they should do whatever it takes to get Emil's money, and Liam agrees, adding that they would team up this time as siblings. Liam and Olsen perform their brotherly handshake, determined to do what Emil asked of them.
