Magnus (Raymond Bagatsing) chooses to save Liam (Donny Pangilinan) over Olsen (Kyle Echarri) in the February 5 episode of “Roja.” When Emil (Joel Torre) learns that Olsen might also be Magnus’ child, he uses both Olsen and Liam as bait to threaten Magnus, forcing him to decide which one to save and which one to leave in danger.
Greta (Lorna Tolentino) convinces Magnus to save Liam, while Wendy (Janice de Belen) further reveals that Olsen is also his child, urging him to save Olsen as well. Torn between the two, Magnus pleads with Emil to take him instead of harming Liam and Olsen. Emil, however, remains unfazed and insists that Magnus must choose between them.
As Emil counts down to ten, Liam and Olsen face imminent danger. Magnus stops him and chooses to save Liam from his wrath. “Sorry, Olsen,” he says. Wendy cries in despair as Liam is saved. “Ibang klase ka, Magnus Roja. Dalawang panganay. Pero hindi ko pa babawasan ang mga anak mo.”
It turns out Emil was merely toying with Magnus and his family. “Pareho ko pa silang magagamit,” he tells Magnus. Olsen did not face any danger but was clearly baffled by Magnus’ decision. Emil laughs at how the situation turned out for them.
