Emil (Joel Torre) now holds Magnus (Raymond Bagatsing) and his family captive in the February 3 episode of “Roja.” His plans reach a new level as he continues to infiltrate the hospital where the victims of the La Playa Roja siege are being treated.
But what Emil can never forget is Jericho’s (Floyd Tena) betrayal. Jericho, who was previously under hospital arrest, is now also in Emil’s custody---despite the authorities’ earlier attempts to outsmart him.
Other than Jericho, Emil also sets his revenge plan against Magnus and his family. Magnus and Wendy (Janice De Belen) are caught by the armed men and brought to where the rest of their family, Greta (Lorna Tolentino), Liam (Donny Pangilinan), and Olsen (Kyle Echarri), are being held captive.
Wendy reunites with Olsen, relieved to find him alive. Magnus, however, vents his anger toward Emil, whose fury reaches another level. “Mabuti pa kayo, kumpleto ang pamilya niyo,” Emil says. “Pero di bale, malapit nang makumpleto ang pamilya ko.”
As he looks at them, other guests, such as the Del Rosario family, are also caught by his men, but Emil has other plans for them. He orders his men not to attach any explosive device to their bodies and instructs them to take the family somewhere else.
Magnus continues to plead with Emil to spare his family. “Ako ang kailangan mo, diba? Ako na lang! Tapusin na natin ‘to! Tayong dalawa lang!” he cries, but Emil remains unfazed. “Dadating tayo diyan,” he chillingly tells Magnus.
Meanwhile, Luna (Maymay Entrata) continues to follow Ivan (Jeremiah Lisbo), who is also held captive while attending to Leni (Rikki Mae Davao), who remains in poor condition due to the siege. Homer (Christian Vasquez) urges him to go quickly to the pharmacy so Leni can recover immediately.
