Emil (Joel Torre) becomes intrigued by the mastermind plotting revenge against Wendy (Janice de Belen) in the February 11 episode of “Roja.” As Wendy once again crosses paths with Homer (Christian Vasquez), secrets from their past begin to unravel---revelations entirely new to Lucas (Marc Abaya) and Emil.
Homer explains to Emil that he did not let go of Wendy; rather, she was the one who escaped from him during their relationship. Wendy tries to stop Homer from talking, but he remains unfazed. She reiterates that she once thought Homer was a good person, but he was not. Emil then interjects, saying to Wendy, “Nagsalita ang malinis.”
Emil then adds that Wendy was once imprisoned, making her not truly innocent since she spent 10 years behind bars. Homer, having not spoken to Wendy for a long time, says to Emil, “Boss, mukhang marami kang alam tungkol dito kay Wendy, ha.” Emil responds with yet another revelation.
“No’ng pinaplano namin ’to ni Jacinto (Floyd Tena), ang sabi niya sa akin, tatakutin lang ang mga hostage. Huwag sasaktan, maliban sa isang tao.” He then looks at Wendy, adding that Jericho even showed him a photo of her for reference. Emil explains that this is how he came to know more about Wendy and her life with Olsen.
What Emil said left Wendy confused, as she did not expect to be one of their main targets after all. “Mukhang malaki ang galit sa’yo ng Jacinto na ’yan, ha?” Homer asks, but Wendy strongly denies it, insisting that she does not know Jericho at all nor has she ever seen him before.
Lucas asks further what motives Jericho might have against Wendy. Emil adds that someone powerful behind Jericho must be holding a grudge against her for her life to be put on the line. “Malamang kung sino man ’yon, kasama rin siya na nagplano ng gulong ito,” he says, still pondering who could possibly have something against Wendy.
