As soon as they arrived at their hideout, which turned out to be a hangar, Tanggol (Coco Martin) and his friends immediately attended to their wounded comrade, Raul (Raymond Ronquillo), as well as checked the money and items they were able to seize from the transaction of his father, Ramon (Christopher de Leon).
Enteng (Jojit Lorenzo) expressed his fear that Ramon might have already recognized their group and was probably searching for them already along with his henchmen, especially since it wasn’t the first time that they had caused him trouble. Besides, Divina (Rosanna Roces) added that Ramon also got suspicious of them upon overhearing their conversation the other day about their previous mission.
Tanggol told them to not worry and assured them that they would do everything to keep them from suspecting. And just in case they refuse to stop selling drugs, they’re going to keep on fighting back over and over again. He reiterated that once he’s declared the mayor of Manila, then he is going to be the one to make them pay for their crimes.
Since the amount of cash and illegal drugs they obtained was estimated to be over a hundred million, Divina asked Tanggol if they could get their share from it, even just a bit. But Tanggol reminded her of their real purpose in carrying out this mission and told them that they couldn’t since he is planning to give all the money away to the people of Manila.
Divina argued that they also deserved to have at least a small percentage of it because they worked hard for it and risked their lives in order to secure it. Thus, it’s definitely unfair if they won’t be able to get something from it.
Tanggol repeated their true intention for this intention, to which Divina asserted that they also needed the money to survive. She went on to lash out at him, telling him that they’d been allowing him to boss them around and supporting him in his plans, as well as reminding them that his principles can’t feed them and their loved ones.
