After carrying out the first part of her wicked plans against the Guerreros, which is exposing the true colors of her half-brother Roberto (Albert Martinez), Olivia (Chanda Romero) sets her eyes on her new target—none other than Marites (Cherry Pie Picache).
Since she’s the illegitimate child of Don Gustavo (Dante Rivero) and the mother of Tanggol (Coco Martin), she regards him as the perfect person who can help her exact vengeance against the Montenegros and the Guerreros.
Her two henchmen may have offered to accomplish the job for her, but she declines them, as she wants to do it in her own way. She pretends to be friendly with her by showing up in her bedroom with a bottle of wine and expressing her earnestness to make amends with her, which Marites didn’t easily believe considering everything that had happened between them.
However, Olivia is firm in convincing Marites that she’s sincere in making amends with her, so she makes use of her acting skills. And it worked, as her sob story successfully planted a tinge of sympathy in Marites, though the latter still had reservations.
As Marites refuses to drink with her, Olivia simply hits her on the head with the bottle of wine, which results to her passing out. Her two minions waiting outside the bedroom take this as a signal for them to quickly go inside to help Olivia execute her plan against Marites.
