Following his introduction as the newest officer-in-charge of the Quiapo Police Station, Police Lieutenant Hector Victorino (Aljur Abrenica) conducts an on-the-spot evaluation of his subordinates to get to know each one of them.
When it’s his turn, Hector interrogated him about the “Concubinage” case filed against him for having an extramarital affair with a former colleague, Lena (Mercedes Cabral). As Rigor argues that his personal life shouldn’t be mixed with his professional life, Hector retorts by reminding him that his being a police officer doesn’t end when he steps out of the police station. Thus, being a policeman requires utmost dedication, as it becomes part of their personality.
Rigor defends himself once more by insisting that he has been so dedicated to his job, which can be attested to by his tenure. But Hector isn’t impressed by it, as he ridicules him instead for failing to rank up despite the number of years that he has been in service. As Hector asks if he gets involved in corruption, Rigor asserts that he has high regard for their profession, so he will never engage in those kinds of practices and that he’s already content with where he is right now.
As Rigor tells him to not compare him with the other police officers who do so, Hector conveys to also differentiate him from the past officials who used to lead their station since he’s definitely not the type who tolerates unscrupulous acts.
