The much-awaited war between the Montenegros and the Guerreros in “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” has finally come. However, just when some of the avid viewers had probably assumed that the Guerreros would actively join in the combat, they went on to use the Quiapo police force to deal with their toughest nemeses.
But prior to the nail-biting, bloody battle that transpired at the Montenegro mansion, it can be recalled that Guerrero scions, Roberto (Albert Martinez) and Miguelito (Jake Cuenca), had a meeting with Rigor (John Estrada) and Hector (Aljur Abrenica) first at the police station.
What was supposed to be a simple discussion among them had turned quite intense after Roberto learned that Hector took the operation away from Rigor, insisting that it was him who should take the lead since he’s the officer-in-charge of their station.
Roberto argued that the reason why he assigned Rigor to spearhead the operations was because he knew the target subjects all too well, making him the right and best pick to become the commander.
Hector tried to assert that he could handle the mission better since Rigor had failed to take hold of them over the past decade, but Roberto had already made up his mind. The two brothers then went on to warn him about what the Guerreros could do if he tried to break or oppose their order.
The scene may be very serious and full of tension onscreen, but the atmosphere off-cam was actually light and cheery, as seen in the video posted by CCM Productions across its social media platforms.

While some of the production crew were busy mounting and preparing the equipment needed for the scene, Albert, Aljur, Jake, and John could be seen having a line or script reading with one of their directors, Malu L. Sevilla.
Being the professional and brilliant actors that they are, the four of them threw lines just like how they did it onscreen. The only difference was that they spewed hilarious adlibs, which made everybody on the set laugh.
They then had a rehearsal afterwards, wherein they were given instructions about their blockings and movements during the take.
