MANILA -- Kapamilya actress Maris Racal has fulfilled one of her dreams as she finally got to work with actor Coco Martin in ABS-CBN's hit series "FPJ's Batang Quiapo.

In a reel released by Dreamscape Entertainment and CCM Film Productions, Racal said it's a dream come true to work with Martin and be part of the hit action-drama series.

'Hindi lang about 'Batang Quiapo but like to work with Coco Martin," Racal said.

"Super saya. Unang-una I can't believe nasa 'Batang Quiapo' set ako. And the show has been going on for almost three years and I'm just really, really happy to be part of it," she added.

In the reel, Racal also shared her first day experience on the set of "Batang Quiapo."

"Bilang day one ko, actually kanina pa ako kabadong-kabado. As in kabado ako magkamali. Para aking bagong artista. So, in the event na makakaeksena ko na sila, hindi ko alam kung ano ang mangyayari sa akin but definitely aaralin ko na 'yung script two days before.

On Monday night, Racal's character as Paula Garcia a.k.a. Ponggay, a fresh police graduate was introduced in the 670th episode of "Batang Quiapo."

"Masaya ang role ko. Ako si Paula Garcia a.k.a. Ponggay. Isa siyang fresh graduate. Bagong  police woman, bagong salta. She's very idealistic, optimistic. Ang sarap niyang laruin na character and it's something na nilu-look forward kong gawin 'yung ganitong character," Racal said.

It's a dram come true, hindi lang about 'Batang Quiapo' but like to work with Coco Martin. So happy," the actress added.

When asked of what her character can bring to the show's main character Tanggol (Martin), Racal said: "Magko-collide.

Racal also expressed her happiness working again with Baron Geisler. The two worked in the action series "Incognito," which concluded last July.

"Oh my God! Thank you Lord, may kakapatin ako," Racal said.

She added: "Speaking of naka-work na, naka-work ko na rin si Via Antonio. Naka-work ko na siya sa 'Breadwinner.' Sa set pa lang noon, lagi naming pinagkukuwentuhan na 'what if mag-action  tayo?' Kasi noong time na 'yon nagte-training pa ako for 'Incognito' Tapos  sabi niya 'sana ako rin gusto ko mag-action.' And then here we are sobrang grabe talaga ang manifestations. So nagkatotoo ang mga dream namin na magkaka-back-to-back kami sa action. So, I'm very excited."

"Batang Quiapo" airs weeknights at 8 p.m. on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, Cinemo, A2Z, and TV5. It's also available on iWantTFC and TFC.
