While the Guerreros were on their way to bring Erika (Gillian Vicencio) to the hospital, their convoy got stalled after a throng of angry protesters suddenly blocked them at an alleyway. They were calling the family out for corruption allegations following the controversial exposé of one of their once-closest allies, Brando Mondragon (Roi Vinzon), that had already gone viral on the internet earlier that day.
Since Erika was severely bleeding already, Miguelito (Jake Cuenca) ordered their driver to just run over whoever tried to stop them from moving forward. Little they did know that their enemy—Tanggol (Coco Martin) and his group—was lurking around the area, as they took the furor as an opportunity for them to carry out their plan of finishing off the Guerreros.
A bloody and intense skirmish subsequently ensued between the Montenegros and the Guerreros, with the former being backed up by Tropang Tanggol and the latter by the police and their bodyguards. As the furious rallyists got them cornered and started to gang up on them, it triggered Miguelito to indiscriminately fire at them so that his family could pass through. Unfortunately for them, it still didn’t work as they found it difficult to escape, especially since the Montenegros were also after them.
Thus, they agreed to divide their family into two groups, with Don Gustavo (Dante Rivero) running from Santino (Ronwaldo Martin) and Erika, while Miguelito went with Jackie (Angel Aquino). But Don Gustavo got separated with Santino and Erika and was caught by a wrathful Ramon (Christopher de Leon), who conveyed his fury towards him over the demise of his beloved father, Don Julio (Tommy Abuel), during the police manhunt operation ordered by the Guerreros against them.
Out of rage and his intense desire to exact vengeance on their family, he mercilessly riddled Don Gustavo’s body with bullets until he ran out of shots. Instead of begging Ramon not to kill him or attempting to run away from him, the old man instead urged Ramon to proceed with whatever he had planned.
Ramon immediately fled as the furious protesters approached the area and beat up the Guerrero patriarch’s lifeless body lying on the ground until he was already bathing in his own blood.
