Just when Lucio (Ronnie Lazaro) thought that he was able to escape death after he was able to get away from the group of Tanggol (Coco Martin) amidst their battle against the Quiapo Police, he found himself wrong.
As he managed to flee from the shipyard where Tanggol and his group had brought him, Lucio went straight to where Roberto (Albert Martinez) was to relay to him what had transpired. He admitted failing in the mission that he had entrusted to him, which was to take over Roberto’s business transactions with Arthur Espinelli (Art Acuña) on his behalf. It was after he and his henchmen discovered that the vice mayor’s new minion, Mauro (Richard Quan), was trying to rat them out to the authorities by taking photos and videos of the drugs and money kept in Arthur’s place.
He recounted how they were able to confirm their presumption that Mauro was indeed a spy, as well as how Tropang Tanggol annihilated the entire Red Phoenix Group except him. When asked by Roberto why he thought Tanggol did it, Lucio confessed that he actually had no choice but to tell the truth to Tanggol and Ponggay out of fear that they would finish him off as well, just like what they did to his minions.
Instead of getting bothered or mad by what he just heard, Roberto seemed to be fine, as he even patted him on the shoulder and poured scalding hot tea into Lucio’s cup with a smile on his face as he implied to him that he had nothing to worry about.
Lucio then asked him for money that he could use to hide for quite some time and promised Roberto that he would come back to make it up to him and help him defeat Tanggol. Roberto agreed and took out a bundle of cash out of his jacket pocket and handed it to him, assuring him that he would not forsake him.
But then, while pouring another shot of tea into Lucio’s cup, Roberto suddenly hit him on the head with his metal teapot, which caused Lucio to lose his balance and fall to the ground. Roberto poured more tea on his chest and neck, which made Lucio whimper, then poured the remaining tea straight into his mouth, which he forcibly held agape. He seemed to have strangled him as well, which caused Lucio to die with his eyes and mouth wide open.
