As Divina (Rosanna Roces) warned them about getting killed once they tried to fight back, Tanggol (Coco Martin) told her that he couldn’t care less if they all perish, but he would make sure that she dies first. He then quickly grabbed her gun and took her as a hostage, threatening the police to shoot Divina if they would refuse to put their guns down and let them escape.
Alarmed by the scene, Rigor (John Estrada) immediately radioed Hector (Aljur Abrenica) to advise him to start shooting their targets since he knew all too well that Tanggol and his companions would not surrender and would instead fight back.
Hector gave them three seconds to surrender, and, true enough, the group retaliated at them, which resulted in a gunfight that instantly claimed the lives of Maki (Vince Rillon) and Nognog (Nonong Ballinan).
Before he left to escape with his friends, Tanggol furiously threatened Divina that he would hunt her down and get back at her, which apparently got her speechless and horrified.
