As soon as they arrived home from working at their KTV bar overnight, a heated altercation erupted between Mauro (Richard Quan) and Linda (Aleck Bovick) after she found out that he owed money to a certain “Taruc”. According to Mauro, Taruc asked him to sell a motorcycle, but he hasn’t remitted to him yet his cut from the sale, as he lost the entire P30,000 to jueteng.
His nosy mother, Florie (Perla Bautista), arrived at the scene afterwards to ask them what they were fighting about early in the morning, to which Mauro replied that they were just discussing their expenses at the beerhouse.
Ponggay (Maris Racal) chimed in and suggested that they just close their business down, which indeed irked Linda. She told her to be the one to pay for their expenses instead since she already got a job, which ignited a scorching spat between Linda and Florie. This prompted Ponggay to announce that she will be giving them her first salary in full—much to the delight of both Linda and Mauro.
