Worried about his mother’s situation following her arrest earlier that day, Santino (Ronwaldo Martin) asked Rigor (John Dimaguiba) how she had been doing in jail. Rigor sternly told him that she would definitely rot there as a consequence for choosing to be with Ramon (Christopher de Leon) rather than them.
Santino tried to argue that Marites (Cherry Pie Picache) was just implicated in the mess since he knew that she couldn’t sell drugs like what the Montenegros did. However, Rigor insisted that she’s still guilty by association, and protecting or getting involved with drug lords is punishable by law.
Not wanting Marites to further suffer in prison, Santino pleaded with Rigor if they could do something to set her free and acquit her of charges. Although he understood where he was coming from, Rigor maintained that it would be impossible since she needed to be accountable to the law.
