She may already be at home, but Ponggay (Maris Racal) still couldn’t help but reel from everything that transpired on her eventful and action-packed first day in service.
While engaging in intense shootouts with hooligans is normal in her line of work—just like what happened between the Quiapo Police and the group of Tanggol (Coco Martin)—what made it difficult for her to move on from it were the unpleasant things she personally discovered about him.
It absolutely upset her to realize that Tanggol, whom she thought would be a genuine champion of positive change in Manila like her, turned out to be just pretending that he’s a real hero. Because for her, it’s still better for a person to show who they really are regardless of how bad they can be rather than put on a mask to posture that they are good.
Don’t miss an episode of “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” weeknights at 8 PM on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, TV5, iWant, and Kapamilya Online Live (KOL). Viewers outside of the Philippines can watch on The Filipino Channel (TFC) on cable and IPTV.
