As Tanggol’s (Coco Martin) friends continue to mourn and discuss the latest tragedies that have befallen them—the death of Oweng (Renz “Baby Giant” Baña) and the fatal shooting of Ramon (Christopher de Leon)—Paeng (Michael de Mesa) advised them to fight the sadness that they feel.
He proposed for them to just come with them as they seek refuge in the province, then accompanied Fatima (Andrea Brillantes) as she tried to persuade the still distraught Tanggol to just flee with them.
Since he blames himself for all the misfortunes that the people close to him have been going through, Tanggol implied that it would be best for them to just leave him alone, as he fears for their safety.
Fatima reiterated her offer to them, but Tanggol objected to it since he had already made up his mind to exact vengeance against the Guerreros all by himself. Thus, he already entrusted his friends to Paeng.
