While the Quiapo Police were preparing to attack their hideout that morning, a heartwarming encounter was going on between Tanggol (Coco Martin) and his friends and the Benitos as they bade farewell to them.
For one last time, they tried to persuade Tanggol to come with them to ensure his safety, but he still stood by his decision to remain here in Manila and exact vengeance on the Guerreros all by himself. Although his best friend, Enteng (Jojit Lorenzo), conveyed his willingness to accompany him and sacrifice his own life for him, Tanggol refused since he didn’t want them to be embroiled in his mess and misfortunes.
Since they could no longer change his mind, Paeng (Michael de Mesa) and Fatima (Andrea Brillantes) simply thanked him for everything that they’d done for their family and promised to always pray for his safety.
Enteng, meanwhile, delivered a moving speech as he bade goodbye to him and was followed by their other friends, who gave him a tap on the shoulder one by one. The last one to leave was Fatima, who gave him a tight embrace.
