Ellen Adarna gave followers a glimpse of her fun-filled beach getaway with kids Elias and Lili, ex-partner John Lloyd Cruz, and his girlfriend, artist Isabel Santos.
In a series of Instagram Stories, Ellen shared snaps from their vacation in Amanpulo, a luxury private island resort in Palawan.
The kids were seen enjoying the beautiful white sand and spotting komodo dragons and sea creatures such as pawikans (sea turtles) and Pompano fish.
The actress also posted a sunset selfie, joking that Isabel had taken over babysitting duties at the time.
“Naka Selfie (kasi) naka sub si (Isabel Reyes Santos) (laughing emoji),” Ellen wrote.
She later uploaded a video of Isabel walking hand in hand with the kids toward the sea, captioning it: “Push (Isabel Reyes Santos) (laughing emoji).”
Another clip highlighted the sweet bond between John Lloyd and Elias. The actor was seen filming his son as the latter tried to catch a crab.
“Ang hirap daw kumuha ng crabs,” John Lloyd said, laughing in the background. “Give it to your Mama,” he teased. Elias then walked toward Ellen while holding the crab, proudly showing it to her.
Ellen’s latest posts drew praise from followers who lauded the former couple for maintaining what many described as a “healthy co-parenting” relationship.
Previously, Ellen shared how John Lloyd had offered help when she and her children moved to a new house.
“In fairness talaga kay JL, wala akong masabi. Hindi na kailangan pagsabihan. And huwag niyo na itong gawing chismis ha kasi JL and I are better off as co-parents, as in super okay kami sa co-parenting namin,” she shared.
She went on: “Chika lang. So when he found out that we moved houses, si Elias, anak niya, kasama. You know what, he offered like, ‘Len, kung ano man kailangan niyo, just let me know. Baka makatulong kami.’ Di ba? Nagkusa. So there. Iba talaga ang taong ganyan, yung (may) kusa.”

She also shared how John Lloyd has been a constant father figure in Elias's life. “John Lloyd is always Elias’s father figure because he’s present. Elias is very in love with John Lloyd. They have a very close relationship.”
Ellen admitted she was especially grateful for John Lloyd during a vulnerable time in her life, particularly when she and her husband Derek Ramsay separated.
“So, when the breakup happened, of course I thanked John Lloyd. Thank you kay John Lloyd. Because imagine if you’re not there? Imagine if you’re not present?” she said. “Super silang close ni John Lloyd to the point na when John Lloyd brings Elias to me, Elias cries [and says] ‘I miss my dada, I miss my dada.’”
Ellen also spoke warmly about her relationship with John Lloyd’s current partner, Isabel: “Oo dai. Chika galore kami dai. She is so nice. Elias loves her. She is cool. She is pleasant. And she is fun, grabe ang sense of humor.”
