John Lloyd Cruz and Isabel Santos recently caught the attention of netizens after photos of them together in Thailand were posted online, amid ongoing rumors that the couple had split up.
The actor and Isabel traveled to Thailand with several companions, as seen in group photos shared on Instagram on January 23. The images, originally posted by one of their travel companions with the Instagram handle @lethyghorl, showed the pair relaxed and comfortable as they spent time together during the trip.

In one of the photos, John Lloyd was seen leaning toward Isabel with a playful expression as they sat on a balcony, both appearing to laugh in the moment. The post was captioned, “Parang sila pa?”, that seemed to reference the breakup speculation surrounding the couple.
More photos from the same trip showed John Lloyd with his arms around Isabel, almost embracing her, as both smiled for the camera.
Another image captured them during a meal, with the actor resting his face close to Isabel’s cheek while she looked toward the camera with a smile.
The Thailand getaway comes after rumors circulated online earlier this month suggesting that the two had gone their separate ways. Speculation began when netizens noticed that John Lloyd and Isabel were no longer following each other on Instagram. As of January 15, the two were absent from each other’s following lists, sparking questions about the status of their relationship.
Despite the unfollowing on their main accounts, the couple continues to follow each other on the actor’s other Instagram account under the handle @dumpsitegallery. Their respective profiles also still feature photos of one another, with no posts removed despite the online buzz.
The social media discussions emerged just weeks after the couple was last seen together in public. In December, Isabel accompanied John Lloyd as he supported his son Elias during a piano recital. She shared photos and a backstage video from the event, which were later reposted by John Lloyd’s former partner and Elias’ mother, Ellen Adarna. Ellen also shared a greeting on her Instagram Stories that read, “Hi tita sabel! 👋”.
As of writing, neither John Lloyd nor Isabel has released a statement addressing the speculation surrounding their relationship.
