Ellen Adarna says she still can’t forgive husband Derek Ramsay: ‘I’m not Mother Teresa, ’day!’

After dispelling entertainment host Christy Fermin’s claims that her husband Derek Ramsay is a “good provider,” in an Instagram Story posted last Friday, February 20, Ellen Adarna continued to interact with her followers by allowing them to send her questions about her family, which she answered in a series of posts online that same day. The 37-year-old actress and model took a hiatus from showbiz starting in 2021 after a whirlwind romance, which ended in marriage less than a year after they started dating.

When one of her followers sent the question, ”Did you ever consider forgiving him to save the family?” Ellen did not sugarcoat her reply. “Forgiveness is only for the people who deserve it and who asked for it and really changed. But I’m not Mother Teresa, ‘day. I’m not there yet.”

Ellen also revealed that she has not received any monetary support from Derek for their daughter Lili since they parted ways last year. 

“Since October last year, he hasn’t given. So come January, I had it. My family was like, ‘Nope, don’t tolerate that sh*t.’ If he doesn’t give anything, then no Lily, that simple. So that’s when I called him out and I think they panicked. Nothing man. But two weeks ago, less than two weeks ago, that credit card arrived and yun na yun,” she said.  

The outspoken celebrity also compared her partner’s recent expenses, which included a new vehicle. “And then grabe maka-flex, bili ng cars and all that, so you know, you see where his priorities are, like oh my God (laughs),” she added.

Apart from the credit card she recently received from Derek for use for their daughter’s needs, Ellen added that he also contributed some supplies last year. 

“To be fair, he said he gave milk and diapers last November or October, but I don’t know. I didn’t see it because I hoard milk, I hoard diapers. I even hoard makeup, but more on food and stuff for my children. So hindi namin yun nakita and hindi namin na-trace. Sana he can provide receipts. But he said that he sent milk and diapers nung October. So there. I won’t discredit that. And I think this month he bought milk daw that’s good for two months. But I already bought also good for three months so it’s not here with me. So there. Let’s not discredit that also that he bought daw,” she said. 

In another Instagram Story, Ellen also revealed that while they were still living together in the same house in Alabang, she would have to shell out money for her personal grocery items, as well as for Elias, her child with former partner John Lloyd Cruz. 

“While there was food, but, sometimes nakulang. Like the first two years in the marriage, like pag nakulang, I buy. I make abono. Because his mom was in charge of the groceries from start to finish in the marriage. So the first two years, I buy my own kasi kulang. Elias has his own. Elias is provided kasi nakakahiya naman di ba parang naki-ride on lang? Provided naman siya kay JL. And I buy groceries for my staff and my tampons, my toiletries. That I buy for myself,” she admitted.
