Vincent (Paulo Avelino) sides with Stella (Kim Chiu) against Claudia (Sofia Andres) in the April 8 episode of “The Alibi.”
When Stella goes to the Cabrera News office to see Vincent, she and Claudia get into a fight, and they both end up revealing secrets about each other in front of the other employees. Their heated argument quickly turns into a fight, but Vincent steps in just in time to stop it, “Ayos ka lang ba?” he asks Stella.
“Really, Vincent? Mas kakampihan mo pa ‘yan kaysa sa’kin? Hindi mo man lang ba ako tatanungin kung okay ako?” Claudia retorts. She then confronts her husband, “Bakit mo ako sinasaktan nang ganito, Vincent?” adding that she has sacrificed so much for their marriage.
Tired of her dramas, Vincent responds, “You stopped being my wife when you cheated on me. You stopped being my wife nung naniwala ka na kaya kong pumatay.” He recalls how Claudia turned her back on him when he was accused of killing Walter (Sam Milby).
Claudia denies everything Vincent says in front of everyone, insisting he is just making up stories and feeling humiliated. Vincent laughs in disbelief, “Ayaw mo bang sabihin sa lahat ng tao? Ayaw mo sabihin sa kanila na kabit mo si Walter?” He adds that now that Walter is gone, she has no one left to confide in. “Wala ka na ring asawa,” he ends, pulling Stella with him as they leave.
