Uncover the story behind Stella (Kim Chiu) and Walter's (Sam Milby) past connection in the April 7 episode of “The Alibi.”
Stella recalls her past with Walter, whom she first met at the bar as a customer and who later became one of her regulars. One of her closest friends, Bubbles (Johaira Omar), feels disappointed that Stella never ended up with Walter back then.
The flashback shows the first time Stella talked to Walter, during a private booking he arranged at the bar. She thanks him for once saving her from a customer who tried to harass her and continues with her usual routine, offering a sensual dance to her customer. Walter stops her immediately and explains that she doesn’t need to perform those services for him. Instead, he invites Stella to sit beside him, wanting to talk to her more deeply and personally.
This became the root of how Walter and Stella eventually grew close. Walter would constantly visit Stella at the bar every night and book her privately, not for intimate desires, but to build a genuine bond with her. One night, he gives her a bouquet of roses, leaving Stella confused, and Walter explains that he simply wants to spend time with her. Later that evening, Walter accompanies Stella and drives her home. Although a bit embarrassed by the way Walter has been treating her, Stella expresses her gratitude. She introduces him to her siblings, and Walter even tries to help her with her youngest sister at the time, Joy.
Not wanting to remember more of their past, Stella pleads with Bubbles to keep her acquaintance with Walter a secret, to which Bubbles agrees. “Walang kahit na sinumang dapat makaalam na may koneksyon ako kay Walter,” Stella insists.
