A terrifying scene unfolds within the burning village ruled by Datu Rahman Abubakar (Jaime Fabregas) in Zamboanga City.
In between the dread and the devastation, the head agent of the Special Investigations Division: Task Force Alpha, Marcus Reyes (Richard Gutierrez), gives aid to his injured comrade, Oliver Lapena (Geoff Eigenmann), promising him a safe return to Manila.
Consumed with rage triggered by the violence inflicted against his peaceful and innocent Muslim community, Jalil Abubakar (Gerald Anderson) sprints to the scene, brandishing his sword to any foe that is nearby.
Jalil then comes across Marcus, and they begin to brutally fight each other. Both were shown to be equally powerful, almost overpowering one another, the edge of the sword lethally pressing their throats.
