For the opening salvo of Round 10, the stage was filled with high rock energy as JM Dela Cerna and Marielle Montellano performed as Rod Stewart and Tina Turner. To make it even more exciting, they did a gender switch for this act—which was a first for Marielle.
The studio erupted in cheers as JMielle earned a standing ovation from both the jury and the audience after their “Hot Legs” number. "Naiirita ako sa tuwa ko," Sharon Cuneta joked. Kidding aside, she said she couldn’t see any trace of JM and Marielle on stage, "Wala kayong hindi kayang gawin."
Judge Gary Valenciano also couldn’t believe how convincing Marielle was as a “man” for this round, noting that she even nailed Rod’s raspy vocals—a quality he knows, as a veteran singer, is extremely tough on the throat.
"Sobrang entertaining," exclaimed Ogie Alcasid, admitting that while the transformation made him laugh at first for being so unexpected, he was blown away as soon as the song started.
