MANILA -- Jason Dy clinched his second win in the brand new season of "Your Face Sounds Familiar."
This happened after his transformation as Afro-Latina icon Cardi B, singing “I Like It” and impressing the show's judges Sharon Cuneta, Gary Valenciano, and Ogie Alcasid, as well as his fellow celebrity performers.
Dy won the 10th round after receiving a total score of 29 points from jurors and fellow celebrity performers. He was followed by Jarlo Base with 25 points and Akira Morishita with 16 points.
Aside from getting a plaque, Dy also took home P50,000.
"Grabe! Maraming-maraming salamat. Worth it lahat 'yung paghihirap sa rehearsal, 'yung lahat nang ginawa sa akin, 'yung transformation. Gusto kong ipaabot ang heartfelt gratitude ko sa lahat ng mga co-contestant ko, co-performers ko, kasi grabe, hindi biro ang mga ginagawa namin. I love you, guys, maraming salamat. Siyempre sa mga jury din natin, thank you so much," he said.
It can be recalled that Dy also won the second round in the program with his transformation as Sam Smith.

Next week, Rufa Mae Quinto will be Meghan Trainor while JM dela Cerna and Marielle Montellano will transform as Tina Turner and Rod Stewart.
Dia Mate will portray Marilyn Monroe, and Alexa Ilacad will grace the stage as Thalia.
Dy will be Benson Boone as he stole the celebrity icon from BGYO's Akira Morishita, who will be performing as Axl Rose, and Jarlo Base will be OPM icon Bamboo.

Meanwhile, the show's Sunday episode opened with the special performance of former child star Awra Briguela.
Briguela, who was the grand champion of the first "Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids," wowed jurors and the celebrity performers with her transformation as Jennifer Lopez, singing "On The Floor."
When asked to give advice to the celebrity performers, Briguela replied: "Basta po mag-enjoy lang kayo. Kasi kapag nagseseryoso po ako nung season ko, natatalo po ako. Pero kapag nag-eenjoy lang ako ay nananalo ako. Katulad ngayon kung kasali ako ngayon talo ako, seryoso ako ngayon."
"Your Face Sounds Familiar" airs weeknights on Kapamilya Channel, ALLTV2, A2Z, Kapamilya Online Live and iWant.
