South Korean actors Kong Hyo-jin and Jung Jun-won star in the suspense drama "A Bona Fide Killer," which Filipino audiences can stream on Rakuten Viki.
Based on a popular Kakao webtoon with a cumulative 180 million views, the series — which premiered on July 31 — follows Yoo Bo-na (Hyo-jin), a devoted wife and mother who appears to lead an unremarkable life with her husband, newspaper reporter Kwon Tae-seong (Jun-won).
Unbeknown to her family, Bo-na is a legendary sniper known as "Kingfisher," who works for a covert organization that eliminates some of the world's most dangerous criminals.
Her carefully guarded life, however, is put at risk when Tae-seong is assigned to investigate "Kingfisher."
The series is directed by Yoon Jong-ho, who co-directed the hit time-slip romance series "Lovely Runner" in 2024.
Hyo-jin is known for starring in dramas such as "The Master's Sun," "It's Okay, That's Love," "The Producers," "When the Camellia Blooms" and "When the Stars Gossip."
