Just like any other business, “The PBB Bistro” had its soft opening, too! Thus, Kuya invited the two special people in the lives of “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” housemates and nominees Heath Jornales and Joaquin Arce to serve as their first pair of guests. And they were none other than Joaquin’s Daddy Neil Arce and Heath’s Mommy Jem Jornales.
During their separate conversations with Big Brother, the two parents were asked about how their respective children were growing up and their aspirations for them. Daddy Neil fondly shared how the “Rising Dreamer ng Muntinlupa” has always been so kind and has never put them in trouble, as well as wishing for him to be content and happy with what he has. Mommy Jem, on the other hand, described the “Fighting Prince ng Taguig” as sweet, quiet, loving, and caring, and went on to convey her excitement to get a taste of Heath’s cooking.
As the first customers of “The PBB Bistro,” Daddy Neil and Mommy Jem were expected to give their honest reviews about the food that would be served to them. A few moments after the guests had settled on their seats, the housemates, a.k.a. cooks and servers, marched inside the house to cheerfully welcome them. Heath and Joaquin were both surprised and delighted to see their respective parents, as well as giving us hints on the dynamics of their relationships with them.
Before leaving them to enjoy their appetizers, which were the “Tuneinei” (tuna crisps) and the “Chizmiz ni Lady” (cheese sticks), Joaquin and Heath approached their parents to personally speak with them and give them hugs.
