Although both of them were nominated, Carmelle Collado still managed to encourage her best friend, Eliza Borromeo, who was emotional for being placed again in such an uncertain situation. Carmelle even promised to pray the rosary, in hopes that her petition for Eliza to be the one to stay in the game will be heard.
The ‘Riles Diva ng Camarines Sur’ then asked her another best friend, Krystal Mejes, if it was mean or wrong for her to feel happy in spite of what happened, to which the latter replied that it depends on the desire of her heart. She went on to convey that she no longer genuinely wanted to stay since she already felt drained and tired. According to Carmelle, her only motivation to keep going was their shared dream of making it to Big Night and their promise to face the outside world together. Thus, she’s doing this for them and not for her anymore.
In her moment with Kuya inside the confession room, Carmelle opened up that she has been feeling physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually exhausted over the past few days, which made her feel that she’s already okay and fulfilled with her stay, as well as prepared to leave the house. She also expressed how deeply she missed her loved ones, pointing out that this was the longest time she had ever gone without seeing or speaking to them.
As Big Brother gently reminded her that his family is also among her reasons for persistently chasing her dreams and quizzed her if she was ready to face them again should her wish to leave come true, Carmelle started to cry. She confided in him that she actually couldn’t fathom how she had reached this point, where missing them had become so overwhelming.
But Kuya’s words of wisdom apparently worked its magic to her, as she eventually had a change of heart and told him, “Gusto ko pong magpatuloy dito sa loob ng bahay n’yo po, Kuya, hangga’t sa makakaya ko po. I know na these past few days na talagang hindi po ako gano’n ka-all out sa mga ginagawa ko po dito sa loob ng bahay n’yo. But gusto ko pong bumawi and gusto ko pong ipakita sa kanila na karapat-dapat po akong manatili rito sa loob ng n’yo po, Kuya.”
