Following Kuya’s official announcement that they are this week’s set of nominees after losing the latest LigTask challenge, the members of Team Solid Six, namely, Caprice Cayetano, Carmelle Collado, Eliza Borromeo, Heath Jornales, Joaquin Arce, and Sofia Pablo, couldn’t help but feel the weight of their nominations. Thus, they consoled each other, along with the moral support of Team Striving Feathers.
In his conversation with Big Brother, Joaquin vowed to double his efforts for his possible final week in the house, asserting that he still deserves to stay since he knows to himself that he never stepped on anyone, that he consistently exerted his 100% in every task, and that he has the drive to win and make it all the way to the Big Night.
Kapamilya wildcard Eliza Borromeo, meanwhile, was comforted by fellow wildcard and close friend Marco Masa. It may not be her first time to be placed in this situation, as she has previously been evicted alongside him, but the ‘Determined Dilag ng Cavite’ admitted to Kuya that she felt more the weight of being nominated this time. However, she remains hopeful that the public, especially her supporters, will once again give her the chance to stay longer in the game this time.
First-time nominee Caprice, on the other hand, was uplifted by her housemates closest to her as she turned emotional. The ‘Demure Daughter ng Quezon City’ told Big Brother that she isn’t ready to leave just yet, as she still wants to grow inside the house and pursue her dreams. Besides, it saddens her even more to be placed in such a critical situation now that the competition is nearing its end.
After offering solace to Caprice, it was Sofia’s turn to receive comfort from her closest housemates, who kept reassuring her that she would stay. Despite knowing that she did her best to prove herself and show that she is not the person her bashers have painted her to be, the Strong-willed Sunshine ng Quezon City couldn’t shake the thought that her Pinoy Big Brother journey might soon come to an end. Kuya, however, reminded her not to overthink or jump to conclusions, and instead encouraged her to remain optimistic for the people who continue to believe in her.
“Naniniwala po ako na if I believe in myself po, Kuya, mas magkakaroon po ako ng chance na manatili pa po rito. Para na rin po sa mga taong baka naniniwala po sa akin sa labas,” she tearfully said.
