With their safety from nomination and possible eviction at stake, the remaining housemates of “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0”, who were divided into Team Solid Six and Team Striving Feathers, faced immense pressure as they battled in their third and final LigTask challenge of the previous week, which would determine their fate inside Bahay ni Kuya.
For this challenge, each team was given a large wooden hexagonal panel with a hole at the center, which the members had to lift by pulling the six ropes attached to its corners while balancing a ball on top. They had to transport the ball from the loading area to the play area where they had to shoot it into one of three boxes—the green (nearest) box worth 10 points, the yellow (middle) box worth 30 points, or the purple (farthest) box worth 50 points. Everytime they dropped the ball during transit, the team had to return to the starting point and begin anew. The team that accumulated the highest number of points within the four-hour time limit would win the challenge and be spared from the nominations.
Both teams initially struggled to find their rhythm until Team Striving Feathers scored the first point of the game. Determined not to fall behind, Team Solid Six pushed themselves by repeatedly aiming for the 50-point box—a strategy that paid off early on as they managed to take the lead in the opening hours. However, as Team Striving Feathers kept pace and eventually began to pull ahead, panic seemed to set in among Solid Six. This caused them to lose their rhythm, resulting in mounting tension within the group.
This prompted Team Solid Six leader Carmelle Collado to vent out to one of her besties, Team Striving Feathers member Krystal Mejes during one of their breaks. She expressed how exhausted and frustrated she already was with what was happening to their group, even implying that she had come to terms with being nominated and, perhaps, evicted.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the house, Carmelle’s teammates Joaquin Arce, Heath Jornales, Caprice Cayetano, Sofia Pablo, and Eliza Borromeo gathered together, as Joaquin checked on them and shared his observations regarding Carmelle’s attitude amid the flaring pressure. He asked Eliza to tell her best friend to calm down, since he didn’t know how to communicate it directly to Carmelle.
