Jason Dy rocked the "Your Face Sounds Familiar" stage once again as he transformed into the legendary King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley in the January 17 episode.
After his number, Jason shared that this has been the most exhausting makeup process so far, as the prosthetics were more intense, from the nose to the chin, plus the discomfort of wearing a wig. But it was all worth it, he said, because he felt every detail added depth to the overall act.
For juror Ogie Alcasid, it was no surprise that Jason delivered an amazing show, although he jokingly pointed out that aside from Elvis, Jason looked like a mix of many other people. On a serious note, he emphasized the performance was very on point.
As Sharon Cuneta put it, “We always expect the best from you and you always deliver more.” Mentor Klarisse de Guzman, who also served as a juror in this episode, described Jason as talented and explained it wasn’t easy to impersonate an icon as huge as Elvis, but he certainly pulled it off. Judge Nyoy Volante added that Jason brought out the “feels” of an authentic Elvis performance.
