Since it seemed that everyone still couldn’t get enough of JM Dela Cerna and Marielle Montellano’s stunning performance of “Ikaw Lamang” as Jaya and Janno Gibbs in the January 10 episode of “Your Face Sounds Familiar Season 4”, hosts Jhong Hilario and Vhong Navarro requested the “Birit Duo” to sing the same song once more—this time with a fun twist.
The hosts invited jury member Ogie Alcasid and celebrity performer Rufa Mae Quinto to join them onstage for a lighthearted lip sync challenge. Given that Jaya is one of the most frequently impersonated OPM divas in singing competitions, while Janno is often playfully mimicked by his close friend Ogie, Jhong and Vhong put Ogie and Rufa Mae’s lip syncing and acting skills to the test. With JMielle singing their respective parts in the aforementioned song live, the tandem of Ogie and Rufa Mae performed it through exaggerated expressions and humorous acting.
And the Comedy Bombshell apparently enjoyed it so much, as she even requested to do the challenge all over again with Ogie, sending everyone in the studio into more laughter.
