Round 7 of "Your Face Sounds Familiar" turned up the retro vibes with a special guest transformation from powerhouse young singer and 'YFSF' alumna Elha Nympha, who paid tribute to the one and only disco queen, Donna Summer.
Bringing the house down with her rendition of “Last Dance,” Elha delivered a dazzling, feel-good segment that had everyone grooving. Jury members Gary Valenciano and Sharon Cuneta got hit with a wave of disco nostalgia, while hosts Vhong Navarro and Jhong Hilario broke into swing moves as they caught up in the infectious energy of Elha’s performance.
On a more serious note, the judges were all praises. Guest judge Erik Santos called it a “maning-mani” performance for someone as vocally flexible as Elha. Gary said it was just the tip of the iceberg, knowing Elha has so much more to offer, while Sharon noted that although Donna Summer isn’t from Elha’s generation, the young singer proved she can take on any genre, any era, and still own the stage.
