As she noticed how apparently zoned out and bizarrely quiet he was at home, Erika (Gillian Vincencio) couldn’t help but quiz Santino (Ronwaldo Martin) if it was because of his chance encounter with his “friend”, Annika (Dexie Diaz), earlier that day.
Instead of responding to her question, Santino asked her back why she was dragging Annika into their conversation, to which she retorted by recounting to her the reasons that made her presume that he was indeed absolutely affected by their unexpected meeting. Santino told her that Annika was just a friend, whom he had met in his previous job.
He went on to fondly reminisce about how they used to talk often in the past, which, according to him, absolutely helped him ease the burden and problems that weighed him down at the time. As he implied that he doesn’t feel the same at present, Erika was obviously hurt, so she walked and headed to their bedroom.
A little argument ensued between them as Erika confronted Santino about what he meant by his last statement, to which he replied by advising her not to worry as it might negatively affect their baby. Erika heeded and quickly lay in their bed.
