As their lives were seriously in danger already, Wating had no choice but to fight back at Ramon (Christopher de Leon) and his henchmen, in spite of Tanggol’s (Coco Martin) strict instruction for them to make sure that his father would not be harmed. Sensing their desperation and fear, Tanggol wasn’t able to say a word and just joined them.
During the raging war between the two groups, Ramon spotted the wounded Raul (Raymond Ronquillo) as an easy target, so he fatally shot him, which resulted in his instant demise. Divina (Rosanna Roces) immediately attended to him and wailed upon seeing that he was already dead.
Since they were clearly outnumbered and were no match against the enemies, Wating agreed to Madonna’s (Kim Domingo) suggestion for them to back out. Unfortunately, as they slowly retreated, Madonna was also killed by Ramon with his deadly shot. Tanggol quickly ran towards her and removed her mask as he grieved over her already lifeless body.
