The news about the capture of the “Montenegro Drug Syndicate” spread like wildfire and has become among the top headlines of all news outlets, which a lot of people inside and outside Manila have begun to intently watch.
Among them are the Dimaculangan couple, Marsing (Pen Medina) and Nita (Susan Africa), who were appalled to realize that the man whom their late daughter, Mokang (Lovi Poe), married was actually Ramon (Christopher de Leon), who turned out to be the estranged real father of Tanggol (Coco Martin)
They may not know yet why Ramon introduced himself as Alberto and fooled them into thinking that he’s a completely decent man, but what Marsing and Nita know is that Tanggol and Ramon have something to do with the deaths of their two children, making them “empty nesters” at present.
Thus, Marsing vows to make the notorious father-and-son tandem pay for all their transgressions to their family by working hard for them to become filthy rich until they have the fortune and power to manipulate the law.
