Following their successful operation against the Guerreros, it appears that P/Lt. Hector Victorino is not only aiming to impress the Guerreros as the designated officer-in-charge of the Quiapo Police Station but also trying to catch Patrolwoman Paula "Ponggay" Garcia's (Maris Racal) attention.
As they accidentally bumped into each other in one of the offices, Hector found the perfect opportunity to not just commend her and her bestie-slash-comrade Patrolwoman Chona Vasquez (Via Antonio) for the “job well done” right on their very first day in service, but to also randomly confess that he likes her—much to her and Chona’s astonishment.
After Hector left, Ponggay told Chona that she found it ridiculous and implied that she’s not interested in getting into any romantic relationships yet since she is completely focused on her career. Besides, if she ever gets promoted someday, she wants it to be due to her own strengths, skills, and courage and not because she’s a girlfriend of a high-ranking official like Hector.
