For the umpteenth time, Rigor (John Estrada) once again figured in a scorching quarrel with his mother-in-law, Tindeng (Charo Santos), after she furiously came to the police station with Alfredo (Juan Rodrigo) to confront him for arresting Marites (Cherry Pie Picache).
Rigor told her that it was her daughter who brought herself to where she is now after she chose to side with the notorious criminal and his archnemesis Ramon (Christopher de Leon). Tindeng was about to punch him after he called Marites and Tanggol (Coco Martin) criminals, but Rigor was able to stop her and threatened to also imprison her like her child.
She then mentioned seeing him be hailed as a hero by the Guerreros during the televised press con. Of course, she wasn’t impressed by it, as she called him the new “puppy” or lackey of the Guerreros and accused him of doing so in order to get promoted.
Rigor argued that he was just doing his sworn duty as a policeman and that she didn’t have the right to question it, but Tindeng clapped back at him by saying that he’s no different from the corrupt family whom he opted to serve and obey.
Tindeng and Alfredo then proceeded to visit Marites in the detention cell and talked to her about what happened. She also promised that they would do everything to allow the truth to eventually prevail.
