Rigor (John Estrada) immediately went to their officer-in-charge, PLT. Hector Victorino (Aljur Abrenica) to relay that outgoing Mayor Roberto Guerrero (Albert Martinez) reached out to him for a special mission that he wanted Rigor to lead.
Hector disparaged him by implying that he didn’t have the capability to spearhead a huge mission like that since he’s just a corporal. But Rigor retorted that even though his rank is relatively low, he firmly believes that he can take hold of the Montenegros and make them pay for their crimes. Thus, all that he asks for is his trust, just like how Mayor Guerrero has put his trust in him.
At the same time, Rigor refuted Hector’s allegation that he was only eager to take on this mission due to his personal issues with the Montenegros, particularly with his former adoptive son, Tanggol (Coco Martin). He assured Hector that it was merely a call of duty for him—no more, no less.
In the end, Rigor was able to convince Hector, who ordered him to prepare their troop for tomorrow’s mission. Little did Rigor know that Hector would only use him for his personal gains, as he plans to take credit once the upcoming operation against the Montenegros succeeds
