Knowing how scheming and treacherous the Guerreros can be based on her own experience with them in the past, Tindeng (Charo Santos) couldn’t help but get worried about the outcome of the elections for her beloved grandson, Tanggol (Coco Martin).
However, she was indeed filled with excitement when her friend, Roda (Joel Lamangan), who has been leading the supporters of Team Tanggol, informed her as soon as he arrived that her grandchild’s vote advantage against his rival, Miguelito (Jake Cuenca), was already huge at the time.
He even imagined them attending Tanggol’s oath-taking ceremony once he gets officially elected as the new mayor of Manila City, both of them wearing Filipiniana—with her in white and him in magenta. Meanwhile, she envisioned a better, brighter, and more peaceful Manila.
But their celebration was immediately cut short when Roda received a call from Evelyn (Tess Antonio), one of the aspiring councilors under the Team Tanggol slate, informing him regarding the commotion that transpired at the precinct that evening. She related that a group of armed men suddenly attacked, which caused the disruption of the transmission of votes. The news completely alarmed both Roda and Tindeng, with the latter assuming that the Guerreros were the ones behind it.
