Since their family was already losing to Tanggol (Coco Martin) and his team based on the partial and unofficial results of the local elections being released real-time, Roberto (Albert Martinez) decided to finally do something about it.
The first thing he did was to reach out to someone who seems to hold a high position in the commission that governs the elections in the country, in his attempt to talk him out of tampering with the results of the elections in Manila. He may not have said it directly, but the man was able to figure out what Roberto’s intention was in calling him. Thus, he reminded him that the only function of their agency is to count and safeguard the votes of the people, nothing more nothing less, and then he dropped the call.
His Plan A may have failed, yet Roberto was able to find another person who could help his family resolve their dilemma—the general of NLEA, who recommended to him a hacker he knows who can manipulate the NEC results. While the general promised to take care of the person who will do the job, Roberto vowed to provide the security that the hacker will need in order to carry out his mission.
Roberto then relayed to his father, Don Gustavo (Dante Rivero), that he doesn’t need to worry anymore since he already found a solution.
