Following Santino’s (Ronwaldo Martin) offensive reaction with regard to her pregnancy, Erika (Gillian Vicencio) seemingly found it hard to move on, as she still harbored hatred against him. He explained that he was just dumbfounded to find out that he’s going to be a father already since he’s not prepared yet for the responsibility.
This got Erika incensed, so she lashed out at him by saying that it isn’t only him who is not yet ready to be a parent, but also her and especially her, since she would be the one who’s going to carry it for nine months.
As Erika expressed her desire to leave him and go back to her family since he appears to be terrified of taking on the obligations of being her partner and the father of their child, Santino managed to pacify her. He was able to convince her to calm down and advised her to let them mull over the decisions or the next steps they’re about to take in order for them to avoid committing mistakes again.
Apart from persuading her to stay, Santino also apologized to her for the way he initially reacted towards her pregnancy and the hurtful words that he had told her. Besides, he vowed to stand by her and to take on his responsibility to her and their unborn kid, since he doesn’t want to lose both of them.
Just when they agreed not to tell Rigor (John Estrada) about it yet, he suddenly arrived looking so pissed off. He relayed to Santino that he had a heated encounter with Tanggol (Coco Martin) earlier that day, as well as with Marites (Cherry Pie Picache) and Tindeng (Charo Santos), which makes him hate Tanggol more and further wish that he won’t win the elections.
As Santino asked him what he’s going to do if Miguelito (Jake Cuenca) and his family come out the winners, Rigor told him that they are going to use Erika as bait to exact vengeance on their family for killing David (McCoy de Leon). Santino pleaded with his father to spare Erika from his revenge schemes, but his words fell on deaf ears as Rigor is resolute to use her against her family.
