While Lucio (Ronnie Lazaro) was confident that he and his minions had succeeded in finishing off Tanggol (Coco Martin) during their intense and explosive clash with him earlier that day, Roberto (Albert Martinez), who hired them for the mission, refused to easily believe his claim.
He and his troop may have failed to see his remains, just like what Roberto apparently wanted to happen to make sure that Tanggol was indeed already gone, but Lucio insisted to him that it was impossible for him to survive the explosion, the crash, and the fall of his car into the river.
Before hanging up, Roberto told Lucio that as long as he couldn’t present Tanggol’s dead body to him, then he would continue to assume that their family’s stiffest rival was still alive. Roberto is determined not to let him win by doing everything that he can to stop him.
Little did they know that Tanggol had already arrived at the Montenegro mansion, heavily wounded and injured. In spite of his condition, Tanggol was still eager to retaliate against the Guerreros upon learning from Don Julio (Tommy Abuel) that Ramon (Christopher de Leon) attacked the territory of their rivals.
Ramon and his troop came back to the mansion afterwards, with Ramon expressing how grateful he was that Tanggol made it out alive despite having to fight Roberto’s henchmen all by himself.
Although they failed to finish off the Guerreros, Ramon assured Tanggol that they would get back to them some other time. For now, they have to wait for the results of the elections, which, according to him, will dictate what’s going to happen next.
