Upon arriving at the mansion, Marites (Cherry Pie Picache) and Don Julio (Tommy Abuel) immediately notified Ramon (Christopher de Leon) that they were ambushed by the henchmen of the Guerreros, who were actually members of the Red Phoenix.
They badgered him to rescue Tanggol (Coco Martin), as he chose to remain on the battlefield and singlehandedly face the enemies, which Ramon promptly heeded to by commanding his righthand man Franco (John Medina) to tell their minions to prepare as they were about to attack the Guerreros in their territory.
Before Ramon left together with his henchmen and Tanggol’s friends, Marites seemingly tried to ask him if they could spare her biological father, Don Gustavo (Dante Rivero). However, Ramon was determined to annihilate the Guerreros after everything they did against their family. Don Julio seconded his son by berating Marites for still showing concern to the same person who wanted her son dead and encouraged Ramon to proceed with the mission.
With Tanggol and Ramon going on their separate battles, Marites couldn’t do anything but weep and kneel in her bedroom as she implored the Black Nazarene to cast His divine guidance on them.
