Since there was nobody to help him take down the enemies and get out of that horrible situation, Tanggol had no other options but to fend for himself and trust in his own capabilities.
Equipped by his astonishing flair in gun handling and fisticuffs, he still managed to shoot them down and beat them up despite being obviously outnumbered, as well as escape from them using the same car that hit him while he was running away from them.
A nail-biting chase then ensued between Tanggol and the Red Phoenix group, with the latter asking for back-up in their pursuit of fulfilling their mission to finish him off.
